Wrestling - Part 3

If WWE keep sucking themselves off with this Unreal thing on Netflix, there's absolutely no point in watching wrestling anymore. Who cares. They're obsessed with themselves and AEW are obsessed with being idiots in general. What's the point. Utter shite.
Erm. You know you don’t have to watch it.

Erm, nee way!
I do kinda agree like, that's what went a long way in killing wcw the insistence on 4th wall breaking to the extent of people thinking..if it's all pre determined and they keep talking about it why should we bother? It's like superman stopping halfway through a film and saying..you know lex Luther is refusing to lose this fight because he contracted not to lose until at least the last act of the film...plus it shows how much the roster has triple h daddy issues 🤣 wrestleme did a great vid on it.

Unreal is probably not made for the seasoned grappling fans like ourselves and more the more casual netflix viewers IMO

I'm not watching it mate, some for the mentioned reasons. Haven't watched a full programme for nigh on a year. I see clips and that's it.

The 'Unreal' show doesn't bother me in all honesty. It's WWE fluff, you know that going in and yeah they pipe themselves off, but it's a tune out and feet up show for me. On one hand there's folk out there paying subscriptions to dirt sheets for the curtain to be pulled back but when the company does it, there's uproar. Does Triple H have an ego? Sure. Its nothing we didn't know already so honestly I'm not all that bothered.

I'll say one thing and Lyra comes across as an absolute sweetheart. Chris Park, I'd say, is due a break/rest. Fella is so, so anxious to the point you're like ah big man go for a lie down.

Attended Raw in Belfast and thoroughly enjoyed the night. Great crowd, came across well when I watched it back on Netflix and after getting a yarn with Logan Paul before the show, I was extremely surprised how down to earth he was. Thought he handled himself very well with a few fans outside the arena, made time for everyone. I know the controversy around him, but yeah he couldn't have been nicer.

Thank you for the opportunity Sir. I hope it was good enough for you Sir. Can I lick your bum hole sir?

Aye the triple H thing is cringy as owt! I don't mind the show though, decent thing to put on in the background when I'm working from home (although you know they're still pretty much acting when the netflix camera is about!).

I do wonder if they'll ever regret being so open about how scripted it is. I know when I was younger my parents didn't tell me it was fixed, and it was the 90s so it wasn't so easy to find out. Obviously I suspected it like, but the tiny bit of doubt made it class (even Rollins on Unreal says you only need a little bit of doubt in people's minds when talking about his work with the "injury"). So as a kid I loved it. Struggle with it now, although it's probably mainly the product. But my son has never been interested. He knows it's fake and that means he's never had that bit where for a while you genuinely dislike the bad guy. I'd think they'll lose a lot of younger viewers coming through, but TBF they seem to be as strong as ever with your age groups overall

I've never seen them so desperate to tell everyone how they did it. It's immediately after a show now.

Unreal and the behind the scenes stuff has ruined wrestling. There was a time the faces and heels couldn't travel together. Now you seem them hanging out with each other. It's like watching Jurassic Park and Spielberg telling you it's not a real T-Rex, it's just fella with dinosaur head on a big stick.

I don't mind peeling back the curtain a little bit, but there's no need to set them on fire. But I suspect it's for people who don't follow it seriously.

Last time I watched it like a full show? Probably some time after RR last year. Like I say I see clips and read what's going on but it's just the same thing over and over. I just saw Judgment Day is still going doing exactly the same thing, Balor still doing the same routine. Very, very dull.
seriously, when's the last time you saw it.

it's so corporate man :( and seem like cookie-cutter personalities. Say what you like about Mabel etc they had distinctive looks and personalities.
