Man City - 115 Charges

Which is ultimately why states should not be allowed to own a club. They have far greater resources at hand to make a mockery of the rules.
Including dragging this out over a long period of time and raising a complaint about the associated parties rules that, iirc, also went to court. I hope the arbitration panel findings absolutely hammers them tbh, no excuse for what they did.

Man City’s legal team obviously dragging it out.

If they were banned from all competitions from next season it would soon be resolved.
Have you any proof that currently, it is Manchester City's lawyers who are dragging this out ?
Surely, MCFC have submitted their side of the disagreement ?
It is up to the Premier League to find them guilty, or not...

It’s not like they’re signing prime messi like.
The point is that they are still allowed to beat other teams to transfers despite them having broken the rules over a hundred times. They are going to keep winning and winning and increasing their value both to new fans and commercially, so that by the time they get their pittance of a punishment, it won't make a shred of difference. It's all so wrong.

They have refused to co-operate with any financial information from 2018 to 2023. The charges only relate until that point. After that, Man City have actively denied the PL access. That in itself is reprehensible and a FACT that are breaking the rules by not co-operating.

"Manchester City faces 35 charges specifically for failing to cooperate with the Premier League's investigation between December 2018 and February 2023. These charges allege that the club obstructed the probe by:

Withholding documents: Refusing to provide the necessary financial records and internal communications requested by the league.

Legal challenges: Launching various legal disputes to delay or block the investigation's progress.

Lack of transparency: Failing to provide "a true and fair view" of their financial position, particularly regarding sponsorship income and executive pay.

While the club maintains its innocence and claims to have provided "irrefutable evidence," the league contends this non-cooperation forced a multi-year delay in reaching a hearing."

Have you found me the emails yet? The ones that prove 100% guilt?

I’d like to see them. And I’m not standing up for City, I’d just like to see them

So why don't the Premier League sanction Man City with these irrefutable charges? These alone would be enough to do them for breaches of League rules and potential disqualification from competing in the competition! If you in the real world were pulled up by the police for drink or drug driving and refused to give a sample then the potential punishment is increased!!

Premier league rules , has to go through an independent panel to investigate

It's Man City who claim to have "irrefutable evidence" of their innocence yet haven't provided it. And there can be no defence of failing to co-operate with the investigation, which they have done.

Additionally, you or I are not owned by a nation state with the biggest and most expensive legal teams in the world.

As an aside, Mudryk is now 14 months into his provisional ban without being charged.

These things take way too long
thankfully the clubs agreed to change the rules so it’s quicker now for club charges. Is the Mudryk one down to the cause of the failure as last I read they were blaming it on the national team physio.

Nothing will happen.
Swindon will be booted out of the piss pot trophy next week for an incident that happened Tuesday night.
Meanwhile the Man City charges will continue unpunished.

Surely they provided the evidence to the independent panel? Who still need to decide if they believe it is irrefutable, also all clubs agreed on these rules so the time taken is down to the clubs too.

You claim to have seen the emails that proves they are 100% guilty?

I keep asking, but you don’t seem to want to provide them?

The irony of this is not lost on me el skip

2 totally different allegations though, different governing bodies and sets of rules. That’s like complaining an assault case where they admit guilt is quicker than a multinational fraud case that needs experts and a lot of explanations.

I hope they get away with it, the likes of Man United, Liverpool and Chelsea have been bending the rules to suit themselves for years now and pretty much running the league and making sure its almost impossible for anyone to challenge them, so if Man City have been doing the same its no different really.
