Early Leavers - Again!

Why on earth would you leave an away FA Cup tie on 80 minutes when you’re leading 1-0?…..yep, that’s what the guy next to me did yesterday….and don’t use the excuse that “12:15 kick off so I’ve booked a train for 3:00”……..do what I did and book your train for 4:00 or later so that you have ample time to catch it regardless of whether the game is done in 90 mins or whether it needs extra time and possibly penalties.

He might have just gone to stand with his mates for the last 10 or something.
Might have had a bad belly.
Who knows, or cares really?

Early leaver ^

Yeah. I do periodically leave early.

Through "choice,"

Let me knoe where you sit. And next time I choose to leave early. I shall offer you a salute 🫡

Is exactly right. I always find it strange that people care 😂😂

It was obvious he was leaving, he said to me “see you next week”…..if you’re losing heavily then it’s a different matter but why decide to go when the outcome of the game is still in doubt?? Makes no sense.

bloke behind me at brentford on wednesday shouting at the fans leaving 'fuck off and don't come back, cowards, call yourself supporters!' . less than a minute later, the bloke he was with went 'right i'm off, see you later'

tosser behind me just stood in silence the rest of the game which gave me a nice break from his whiney yorkshire accent

Makes no sense to you but it's their choice and they can do as they please. Why do you get so rattled by it? Life is too short. Smile.

Was expecting a thread, so I'm not disappointed I've started it!
There was a break in play on 85 mins, it started, twats up out of their seats tapping the person next to them. Out they went, really encouraging the team to give everything "Til the end" (NOT). What's the point of going to the match if at 3.50 on a Sunday afternoon you can't hang around for 8 sodding minutes 🤬🤬🤬🤬.
Rant over, but, I will no doubt be ranting again
Shadap
