Early Leavers - Again!

SAFC1962

Winger
Was expecting a thread, so I'm not disappointed I've started it!
There was a break in play on 85 mins, it started, twats up out of their seats tapping the person next to them. Out they went, really encouraging the team to give everything "Til the end" (NOT). What's the point of going to the match if at 3.50 on a Sunday afternoon you can't hang around for 8 sodding minutes 🤬🤬🤬🤬.
Rant over, but, I will no doubt be ranting again

Never noticed it myself but its half way through the season and it's the first time someone has posted about early leavers so we must be doing something right as a fanbase

Why are they ‘twats’ for simply leaving a football match before the final whistle? I’ve been going since 1979 when me and my mates always moved from the centre of the Fulwell to the wing next to the exit to wait for the final whistle. I usually move from my safe standing seat in the South Stand when there are a couple of minutes of extra time left and stand near the exit in the SE corner. I can shout encouragement just as well from there. Does that make me a twat? Provided I don’t block anyone’s view, why would anyone be bothered…if people want to watch 20 minutes of football and spend the rest of their time drinking piss in the concourse crack on…if they want to sit on their hands like a deaf mute throughout the game be my guest…and if they fancy leaving early so they can walk the dog, fair enough…it doesn’t make them twats!
