Thoughts on Everton's new ground?

Geppetto

Winger
Thought it was canny average all things considered. The atmosphere was poor, but perhaps that's just down to their fans sitting in silence. That said I don't think the sound seemed to carry well.

The toilet situation was a bit of a joke, hardly any urinals and took ages to get served.

Fan zone/dj outside the ground was canny.

10/10 outside the ground
4/10 bogs and bars
10/10 sitting in the stand and watch the game, outstanding. I won't mark down for the sun like as it was an early kickoff.

Overall bar Wembley the best

Our home fans are very reactive rather than bouncing around with drums and flags during the game.

If there is something to cheer about on the pitch, a crap ref giving everything the oppositions way or we're the underdog / fighting for our lives the home crowd is fantastic.

If its midtable with little jeopardy or we're playing awful football we can be quiet. Mind its like that at most English grounds these days.

Was like that at Goodison as well its nothing new.

Our fans sounded class as always.

I hope you’re not suggesting the referee favoured us mind 🤣🤣🤣

All the new grounds are similar mate if things are going well they are great if not they become a bit soulless compared to Goodison and Roker Park

We are the same tbh.

Outside the ground was very nice, albeit little outside the gates that I saw (I approached from the north, admittedly).

Shop was spacious but almost too spacious if that makes sense. The lack of HD Stadium merch surprised me.

Concourse options were basic and the amount of toilets in the low tier was surprisingly low imo.

Stadium bowl was spot on. No complaints.

External appearance of the stadium is nice.

I don’t blame them one iota having to watch the dross Moyes passes as football.

It was also a KO time that no home support in England except in their respective derby matches will generate a good atmosphere. 1:30pm kickoffs are terrible for it, never mind 15 minutes after the morning.

I thought it was a but meh, really disappointed.
The concourse lack bars, places to get food & drink and the toilets are a joke...think there was more toilets outside the groumd than in it.
The stadium must have had no space to go a bit further back so went up instead to vet the capacity
Think the noise or shall I say lack of is bad and I didn't think the stadium held the noise from our lot who were loud very well either
