Swindon Town 25/26 thread

Decision made.
My lad and myself are still going up to Manchester with the train tickets we’ve purchased for a few beers and more 🤣🤣🍺🍺

What could possibly go wrong. Why not.

On the bright side Swindon are in the 4th round draw.
....and if/when they potentially get a cracking draw they're now bound to blow it at Salford.

Who needs a game for "away-day" beers.

In true Swindon style 🤣
He’ll be able to get you on the train after drinking all afternoon, that’s what my lad does after drinking all day at the cricket.

Will he f*** 🤣
The little shit will put me on the wrong one and leave me to die.

What time will you be getting in? There will be plenty of Palace in Manchester mid afternoon after our early kick off.

Yes indeed the same here. I buy everything as he is a student in poverty (as he bemoans).
Bloody kids mate 🤣
Mine is employed, but slowly starting to contribute.
At the yeah match v India a few years ago, he wanted to see Kohli’s wicket as he didn’t like him.
Then karma struck. He was at a bar getting the drinks when Jimmy Anderson got rid of Kohli. When the lad came back he knew what had happened but had missed it, I was pissing myself laughing and it is regularly mentioned to this day!😆

10:30 - Train home late as we factored in pens.
Long day but why waste the non transferable tickets. We were drinking with Palace fans before the Villa FACup semi final on Victoria station.
We were on way to Gillingham.
They were absolutely spot on and we had a right laugh.

Hot stepping your way into Kent?

Edit. Just saw Gillingham after I posted that response!

All change and home it is.
Daft lad went out with his Mate and Brother and got in at near on 3am.
To be honest a quiet day not a bad shout.
Ohh well will await the away draw at Port Vale in the 4th round. A Tuesday night rearranged tie at Salford as appealing as standing on a plug.
