Kevin Ball on David Dunn in the derby, flipped him a full 360, a marvellous sight!I’ve a mate who’s a massive Rovers fan & he’s the same. It’s a v serious rivalry…

I’m not saying it isn’t. But it’s about how well a club is ran and the project. That’s the most important thing. The most successful clubs aren’t in London. Like I said. There’s no reason that Burnley can’t replicate any similar size club success in the UK.I’ll give you Bournemouth but my point about Brentford stands. As for Luton etc I didn’t say it guaranteed success, obviously the clubs have to be well run too.
I would also suggest London is more attractive as a location than the north west
Ok well humour me for a minute.I’m not saying it isn’t. But it’s about how well a club is ran and the project. That’s the most important thing. The most successful clubs aren’t in London. Like I said. There’s no reason that Burnley can’t replicate any similar size club success in the UK.
Depends whether someone like Xhaka gets on the phone and says there's a real project happening here.Ok well humour me for a minute.
Let’s pretend Burnley and Brentford both have an offer accepted for a player from another country. They are both well run and both currently mid-table. They also both offer the same wage and length of contract.
Do you not think the player would be more likely to choose Brentford due its location?
Why would anyone want to live in London it's an absolute shite hole.Ok well humour me for a minute.

They won’t be living in dodgy areas lol.Why would anyone want to live in London it's an absolute shite hole.
Silly billyWhy would anyone want to live in London it's an absolute shite hole.
That’s your opinion. It’s recognised as one of the best cities in the world, and lots of football people in the media acknowledge it is an attractive place to liveWhy would anyone want to live in London it's an absolute shite hole.
No I wouldn’t describe Kensington or Chelsea or Mayfair as a shit holeThey won’t be living in dodgy areas lol.
Went to a Burnley v Blackburn game back in 2001. Mate was a Burnley supporter so a few of us went. Had to get on a bus from Turf Moor to Ewood Park in a massive convoy. Huge police presence, video cameras, riot police, helicopter, the lot. Dont think people realise the hate between the two clubs.I’ve a mate who’s a massive Rovers fan & he’s the same. I've lived down there for a bit for work and then visited a number of times including recently. It's an overcrowded shit hole full of graffiti and bin bags due to the foreign invasion over the past 25 years. There are lovely areas outside the city but I wouldn't want to live anywhere near it now. 40 stabbings a day. That’s your opinion. Give me Sunderland ANY day. Lots of beautiful green spaces, a beach, no distractions and a large number of passionate fans who are the loudest in the prem this year.
We shouldn't undersell what we have. It's miles better depending on perspective.
He'll not be living in a council flat in somewhere like Brixton. Premier League footballers tend to be well paid, don't you know. Why would anyone want to live in London it's an absolute shite hole.

Still shite outside the Gates. They won’t be living in dodgy areas lol.
Much prefer " summats gannin on ere like, haway tag on"I cringe every time I hear a Sunderland fan talk about "a project"
Newcastle love a project like it sways players. It doesnt. Anyone from Darlington to Dortmund can have "a project". What sells to players is the here and now. Is this a good career move right now?

I’m pretty sure that they will choose Brentford because they will be in the PL next season, and Burnley won’t be.Ok well humour me for a minute.

Johnny halls one ball plan is still active. It was, "let's take these mugs for as much as we can ".Made me smile.
Seriously, at any club... this "weve got a project" is bullshit. Its a club saying "we want to be better than we are now in the next few years, and may or may not spend money to get there."
How many "5 year plans" have the mags had in recent years?
