If he's happy not playing football he's not the character we thinkOr maybe it was because both parties are satisfied with the current arrangement?

He willHe might start against Everton.
If O'Nien starts getting games then you know things have gone to deep shit. Hes not at the level and shouldn't be on the field tbh.
Give him a farewell appearance last day of the season.
And what "character" is that?If he's happy not playing football he's not the character we think
Will be the same ones whinging about the bench yesterday too.Plenty on this forum only want us to have about 15 players in the squad, 'he's not playing, get rid'![]()
Well if he's happy not to play I'd be surprisedAnd what "character" is that?
A very professional committed personAnd what "character" is that?
Which he is.A very professional committed person
How does him being satisfied with a back-up and leadership role make him unprofessional and uncommitted? Not sure I quite follow.A very professional committed person
Then he will want to play football rather than being a cheerleaderWhich he is.
He's about 6th choice all I'm saying is if he's the bloke we know he is he will want to be playingHow does him being satisfied with a back-up and leadership role make him unprofessional and uncommitted? Not sure I quite follow.
I get that like just imagine the experience he would bring to a championship clubThen he will want to play football rather than being a cheerleader

Id imagine that depends on if were prepared to help him get his coaching badges/media appearances/help him with his charity
Or whatever he thinks his next step is
He'd probably be the best centre back in the championship as well. Can't believe a team looking to get promotion over the line wouldn't go for him. He'd be invaluable.
I mean. Boro would be absolutely perfect for him. Think they're light at the back due to injuries as well.
