Patrick Roberts to Birmingham compendium


As the gap between the top and 2nd tier widens, reckon that Roberts, Clarke (and others who can help their club win promotion to the Premier League) will make somewhere between PL and Championship wages. Promotion bonuses etc. Even if they cannot break in for an extended period at a PL squad.
 
Not saying he would play mind, and this point probably sounds more controversial than it is

Buts interesting as Roberts is a better right winger than Mayenda and Rigg, who have (more or less) been playing in that role the last few weeks. Like he just is, certainly better than Rigg right now.

Just an observation that is all, he would not have wanted to wait around anyway and deserves to play football

I'd play Mayenda ahead of him tbh. Roberts lacks the pace and physicality to play PL football

Mayenda was class against man city.But magic pat wouldve definitley done better than Rigg. His touch was off,couldnt trap a bag of cement. Pat wouldve got the ball under and held onto it a lot better than rigg
