They’re a strange bunch. I saw a comment saying we’d apparently kill for even a fraction of the success they’ve had the last ten years. Like, what? They had a couple of decent placed finishes and they played Aberdeen in the Europa qualifiers that time but other than that they’ve just been yo-yoing and fighting relegation. It’s the complete opposite of what everyone’s hoping for
They’d probably be best off staying in the championship a couple of seasons and having a proper rebuild. Have a real structure and transfer policy in place rather than just constantly making a few band aid signings and hoping for the best it’ll be enough. They’ve spent an absolute fortune and they’ll probably recoup hardly any of it. I can’t think of any of their players that prem clubs will be taking a look at compared to the likes of Wolves, West Ham, Forest etc if they got relegated

They've spent a not too dissimilar similar amount to us.
Their issue was they had to purchase several of their loan players that were never going to be good enough for the Premier League.

Walker seems like hes there to pick up PL wages for as long as possible. Xhaka genuinely buzzed off the challenge of coming here and trying to keep us up.
Don’t mind Burnley. Went on like bellends last season but no worse than Leeds.
