Mates funeral yesterday and then got a load of grief of his ex and her mates on facebook. He was an alcoholic but his ex and daughter, neither of whom turned up, just couldn’t let it go. i had a date on Monday which crashed and burned, so the end of 2025 is going to be a blessing

All the best for the new year chaps, I certainly had to reconsider a friendship in the past week but it's all good :lol:

I agree. Modern dating (especially online) is so easy come, easy go. I would try not to beat myself up about any date that didn't go to plan this day in age.

Gave up on online ages ago :lol: , It's highly in favour of women by the numbers but I wont knock it for that. Imagine if you had dozens of lasses texting you on Tinder, you'd not have enough time to read a message let alone talk long enough to get a date.

We didnt get that xmas drink session parky but im free if you fancy another.
 
My fit note is due to run out on Tuesday after six weeks - been off with ocd flare up but my gp is querying diagnoses etc. don’t feel ready at all to go back.

If your Gp is questioning your diagnosis than they must have an alternate theory as to what is causing your collapse and inability to cope with everyday life. Ask your GP what they think it could be if it isn't OCD

Watched a docu about it recently. Match group
Its a bit of a mess now how it operates, matches ,ignores red flagsc etc
I was on a site briefly about a year ago ,I was looking at a profile, same age etc ,no messaging winks and it came up she'd blocked me while browsing . So much for daring to look at people

I don't think the percentages are in anyone's favour, not suggesting people haven't made it work online. I bet it was much easier when the dating sites started to meet someone. Think I mentioned before the only real success I had was talking to a lovely Ukrainian lass for about a month last summer :lol:
