what city centres have loads of free parking? i dont recall many in newcastle or durham.
Probably not many but to encourage visitors on a match day they could encourage people to come in with reduced rates etc, note I complained about cost not that I wanted it free. Nowt free these days. As I noted they took away free after 3 ages ago. Another cost cutting move by our local council.
I parked for free in one of the many dedicated car parks available. Well done on choosing to pay over using any one of them. It's a great scheme I use regularly. WDSC. Where did you park?
Which one ? And what side of river ?

Why do you keep pedalling your lies?

there was a link earlier to the council website which listed them.
we stopped in the premier inn on nye. i was just going to pay at the riverside which was cheaper than the hotel, but the friends we were with pointed us to the streets behind it which are permits but only for 11am-noon and 3-4pm. we parked from 4 and left at 10am.

£15 per month on an omniplex pass gets you as much (3 hours at a time) parking as you want. Added benefit of seeing films too.

Nice one mate. I was unaware and warden probably could’ve advised me but didn’t. As I say I just think it would be good to reduce rates in all areas on match days etc,

You've been provided the link twice showing that you can park for free after 3pm yet still keep pedalling your lies mate? Why do you continue to lie?
I chose to park where I parked fella and it was chargeable. As long as that’s ok with you. Re read to see my reasons for doing so and my point being it could be reduced on match days. If that continues to be an issue drop me a dm and we can discuss the finer points haha

yeah, i dont get over to park in town often so dont know the streets.
we actually got there a bit early so sat in the car luckily as a warden turned up before 4 and ticketed one car. we scooted off and came back.

It's fine by me mate. Keeps more free spaces available for the rest of us. 👍

Thanks for that. That was my point I was unaware of a select few areas that still had free after 3. My main point was on match days the council could help with some form of reduced parking. It won’t ruin me financially so im
Sure I’ll get over it. It was merely an observation. Hope you enjoyed the game
