Early Leavers - Again!

Not even in the top 10.
So much for the know nowts on here.
Not sure if this is a woosh !
Don't think we were in the prem league at the time though marra
Not though no different to most ffs
Love it how people on here think Sunderland fans are the worst for it 😳😆

We definitely aren't this season.
The last few in the championship we were mind
Fans who go home and away could see with their eyes. Leeds at home , close to 50% had left before we equalised at the end. This wasn't an uncommon thing.
No other team was comparable.

Used to be when Quinn was involved with the club. Was part of the research done when they were looking to introduce crowd surfers. Found we were one of the worst for late arrivals too.

It’s the one’s that come in late, and then fuck off back down to get a pint at the 20-25 minute mark that puzzle me. Why bother coming? 😂
This. It's baffling. It's not uncommon to see people not get to their seat until 10 mins into kick off. Go grab a pint at 35 mins, come back on 50 mins and leave at 85. Just using the stadium as a pub. Bizarre.

The ones that irritates me and I need to give an example here to explain.

If there are 50 seats in a row and they have seat 40. Instead of going up the side where they make 10 people stand up for them to get to their seat, they go up the other one causing mass disruption. They are idiots

Loads around my seat, late in, out before half time, back late after half time then leave early.
Nee point gannin

Dont worry about it.

Just imagine City end up tanking us, fingers crossed they dont.

Then the stadium will be half empty by full time....

Then yous will have something to whinge about.

😂😂

Was expecting a thread, so I'm not disappointed I've started it!
There was a break in play on 85 mins, it started, twats up out of their seats tapping the person next to them. Out they went, really encouraging the team to give everything "Til the end" (NOT). What's the point of going to the match if at 3.50 on a Sunday afternoon you can't hang around for 8 sodding minutes 🤬🤬🤬🤬.
Rant over, but, I will no doubt be ranting again
Some people want the freedom to make their own decisions based on information that you most likely are unaware of.

If they don’t affect you I don’t see the issue.

The players should be 100% focussed on the game not staring at the stands to see if Derek from Marley Potts has gone to get his bus.

Think you’re missing the point
Crowd interaction does affect the players , imagine if we all had the same view & there was no-one left at the end

But that wouldn’t happen. Most people stay till the end.

During the times when we have been really crap the players don’t deserve our attention or diligence.

It’s a symbiotic relationship.

There are exceptions when folk have to leave early , that is fair enough , this is aimed at the regular robotic behaviour of the ones that leave on 80 odd mins every game
Bizarre behaviour at times when a game is in the balance , you can understand a mass exit if we were 3 down

I’ve said it for years it’s a certain age group. I was sat around loads of them in the south stand all late 40s early 60s. It’s proper weird it’s like they don’t even like footy just use it as an excuse to gan on the lash away from their lass. I remember one bloke late 50s would come in late leave about 34 mins for a pint come back late then stand in front of me blocking my view around 80 mins. All he did was moan as well, seriously I know we’ve had fuck ton to moan about in those years but if your gonna barely see the game moan like fuck just pretend to your lass you’ve bought a season ticket and gan out every match day 😂 glad I moved from that row use to do me nut in. You pay your money do as you please but I literally couldn’t take sitting there another season so moved the last league one season.
