Ross Stewart

I think once this contract runs down and given his injury problems I can’t see any club parting with a lot of money to get him signed. I think he either goes somewhere on a pay as you okay kind of deal or he might just call it quits. He should be financially secure and that’s a massive plus for him, and there is the rest of your life to live and those injuries could really impact that. Common sense suggest retirement and staying in the game doing coaching badges or something.

How many times! There’s no such thing as a pay as you play deal!!

He didn’t seem to have an injury problem until the Middlesbrough warm up, then it’s just been one injury after another since then ☹️

He was outstanding in the 2021/22 season

Other than our league one promotion season, he hasn’t played a great number of games in his career. He just played beyond 30 games in a season 3 times, once for us, Albion Rovers (33), Ross County (32)

The same day he got injured at Fulham I fell down a flight of stairs at Fulham Broadway Station and knacked my leg. I was fine again in three weeks, he's been crippled ever since. And I'm 70 😲
No you didn’t. You were walking down them.

And it was West Brompton. 😜

A superb player who was fantastic for us.
He did the whole hit.
Was starting to really perform for Southampton just before his latest injury.

He’s back in light training so good luck to the lad he was tremendous for us. Having an exciting player who can score all types of goals is such a lift for a side.
