Sheff Wed - financial issues

This is actually a statement given earlier by one of the administrators, who happens to be an owl....

Always wait for formal statements from the club, the Administrators, the EFL or the eventual new owners.

Remember that every interested party has a motive to disrupt the process. Some of them have high professional standards and ethical values - some have anything but.

The more you hear from them likely veers them
towards the latter.

And please don’t judge or write anything or anybody off before you have the first clue as to the detail.

Merry Christmas to everybody.

Especially if Ashley was really interested. You can say what you like about him but the way he ran the mags was a great example of how to run a club, they just couldn't stand him as he refused to over spend.
Ashley would sorted them out, an inconvinent truth for caliphate about the state the club was in when he took over
Biggest mistake was employing Shearer as manager

It's probably old fashioned, but I still cheer on notern teams (other than liverpool) over southern ones. Seems a shame that the two Sheffield teams arent in the premier league - nit that I was cheering for United at Wembley lol) when teams such as Bournemouth and Brighton are there and doing well.

Anyhow good luck to Wednesday. One of my happiest days was on those terraces.

Absolutely staggered a professional gambler is the preferred bidder for Sheffield Wednesday
EFL are clearly not fit for purpose
Worked out well for Brighton and Brentford tbf.

If I was a Sheff Wed fan I’d have been happy for Ashley to takeover. I think he’d have them competing in the Championship.
