ID checks for away tickets

i notice on my safc ticket account i can see exactly what time i scanned my season card into the SoL for each game.

surely if they are saying 'its already been used' they should also be able to say at which turnstile and and what time.

if i have two or more tickets on my phone and the nfc scans more than one in one scan, meaning that someone is entering on two tickets at the same time, the computer should be able to show that two entered at exactly the same time, at the same turnstile , and the steward can over ride it?

i know i've been a massive critic of digital tickets over the years and been shot down, abused and bullied because of it... but no one can surely still claim that this system is better than physical tickets.
They have on our accounts what time we scanned into the sol on a matchday?

The fact is that exiles will now find it almost impossible to get tickets. In the past anyone with a season ticket & enough points could get an away ticket & pass it on to someone else. You can't do this anymore so the only way exiles will get a ticket is if they go to general sale. This may be fair on new season ticket holders trying to build up points but its a bit tough on those of us who went to the southern games like Oxford, MK Dons, Reading, Bristol C, Wycombe, QPR, Gillingham etc. but now we are in the PL can't get tickets.

Whys it harsh?

Because we supported the Lads at away games through thick & thin in the bad days and now can't support them in the PL
I've been an exile since 1985 and like many others maintained my season ticket so that I earned my own loyalty points. I would accept that not everyone can afford to have a ST but it was the price i was prepared to pay when I moved away
Can you not transfer for the Leeds game?
No, as I understand it

Well done to those who have done this. It wasn't the money but a 300 mile return journey that stopped us. I wonder how many exiles have done it , quite a few I think.

It's a 700 mile round trip for me at times. And it's no fun doing that in a 15 point season. There's several other fans on the south coast that do it too.

Should probably get together and share the driving sometimes.

Fair play mate, good on you and respect!

People like you who put their money where the mouths are, unlike most of the "Closed shop brigade" who stamp their feet and calp their hands as they can't get tickets for say City away, but, didn't want tickets for Cardiff / Swansea away last season

This is correct.

People like this have put in the miles and should be able to do whatever they want with their ticket without fear of sanction from the club.

These ID checks can’t be allowed to slip in.

I really don't get the issue though - if people are using their own customer number and travelling with the branch - it's a simple step of ensuring that everyone is given their correct ticket - so should be nothing to worry about. It's just a case of ensuring that there is an efficient process in place if tickets are to be randomly checked. e.g. a list of ticket numbers next to names from the club if they are paper tickets.
Say a friend sorts our friends & family groups tickets out... pays for them all, sort everything out etc, collects money later etc....
Should they have to sit in a shite seat allocated in row 1 in their name or take their pick?

I am all for them tbh but then I don't buy and sell on tickets so it wouldn't affect me.

Rightly or wrongly it is against the ticket terms and conditions to move your ticket on
