They're 3rd in the table and their goal difference is in deficit, which I've never known before.
Usually a good indicator of if a team's results have been luckier than their performances (and vice versa for +gd when a team is near the bottom). Pardew's Newcastle massively luckboxed a 4th or 5th finish with something like -7 IIRC. Likewise, I believe Mourinho's bad Chelsea season was connected to a lot of awful luck on the pitch and the gd reflected it. My memory is fuzzy on the details though.
