Mr Redknapp
Striker
Totally agree, but even when England batted they let Aussies back in after more wafts.First test for certain. I think we’ve been pretty comprehensively outplayed throughout here. And they’ve not actually had to play that well.

I think he’s good enough (as a batsman) he’s just going through a real tough patch at the moment.Smith isn't good enough for me, shaky behind the stumps and too many issues with his batting technique
They're pretty consistant, I'll give them that.England collapses this series
Perth, 1st inngs: 57/6 (115/4 to 172/10)
Perth, 2nd inngs: 39/6 (65/1 to 104/7)
Brisbane, 1st inngs: 54/5 (210/4 to 264/9)
Brisbane, 2nd inngs: 38/5 (90/1 to 128/6)
He has a technique issue imo, gets away with it more when he bats lower but its highlighted at 3
Let’s face it against the best teams away from home we’re crap.
This has been simply routine for a weakened Aussie side.
I just feel he has a bit of trigger movement issue. Ends up playing at a line that is dangerous when youre essentially facing the new ballI think he bats confused. He’s a classical technically gifted batsman that has been promoted to 3 too hastily and with a license to play a game that doesn’t belong to him.
Yes he’s making the mistakes and isn’t showing much growing maturity, but I think his ability isn’t being utilised anything like properly.
Hes too good a player to be wasting his career the way he is. And he needs better help and needs to be more accountable. It doesn’t appear to be a system where there is any real accountability anywhere.
We haven’t beaten India or Australia since 2018do we fare much better at home though? what are our series home win/results against the better sides?
Aye but our strike rate is over 100 per man, we’re scoring 6 an over with ease.We haven’t beaten India or Australia since 2018
We rarely beat Australia by a 3+ gap, the way they regularly stuff us in Australia. Best since ive really been alive and interested in cricket was a 3 - 0 home win over a decade ago after the 3 - 1 away win we had. Australia have won by that gap or more 8 times since i was born in 1990, and 3 times since we did win 3 - 0We haven’t beaten India or Australia since 2018
Haven't seen any unplayable cricket from the Aussies mind. Very average team once you take the likes of Starc out.Australia are pretty much unplayable under day night conditions. We just don't have the experience of it.
They said we brought the 'best pace attack we've ever had' to Australia, which is true but you have batters with no brain cells it's absolutely pointless
