Australia are pretty much unplayable under day night conditions. We just don't have the experience of it.

Given the message of ‘we’ve been preparing for this series for years’ and they knew there was a day night match, it might have helped if we’d had one.

More generally, we always struggle in Australia. Intimidating crowds, the heat, going a test down and then appreciating it’s a long way back.

I think this series the sides are pretty evenly matched.
