Who has the email come from?
Nobody is saying that. And of course you are right but life isn't that simple and all sorts of things can happen last minute to stop you going to a game. A few have happened to me and my lads over the last few years that we would never have anticipated. Generally just bad luck. The suggestion in an earlier message referencing what New^^^tle do whereby they give you three chanvces during the season seems fair to me because really they do not want the fans that have had a last minute issue, they're after the guys who are touts, who sell for inflated prices, who consistently buy tickets when they have no intention of going to the match in the first place but it maintains their points at high levels, whether they do it themselves or others do it on their behalf, they'll want to stop facebook groups etc and I doubt many people on here, the genuine fans, would have a problem with thatyou're talking hypothetically and making up scenarios to suit your point of view. are you saying that every ticket that's being passed on is by people who are poorly within 24 hours of kick off?

Same thing really. I'm assuming they have/can do that as SAFC wouldn't be able to give City email addresses due to GDPR.Or City have said we want to spot check x tickets - get on with it,
i did once go in the platinum club at st james on my brother in law's ticket when he was away on the rigs when the away fan ban was in place. does that count?People helping mates out has been going on from the time Noah put a donkey on a boat, are you saying you have never once benefited from someone’s ticket?

I’m a c***. You could have passed it on to mei'm not going to brighton because i'm away that weekend, i could quite easily get a ticket and pass it on and get another loyalty point but that would be a c***s trick.

many years ago i missed out on a derby because a branch was using my number for someone else mind, since then i've sorted myself out.
They are trying to make it so the loyalty system works as intended. If you buy tickets and don't attend games you shouldn't get the pointI’ve been supporting Sunderland for over 20 years I’ve been to over 40 stadiums and I go when I can to games. I can’t get a season ticket due to financial and ethical reasons. I have been there in the cold and wet in league 1, the championship and the bad years in the prem. And now they’re trying are making it difficult for people like me to go to games. This is not fair.
One of my mates has been to every away game this season but is giving tomorrow a miss, 2 away games in the space of a few days is expensive for a lot of people in the month of December. But why would they now, of all times decide to not bother going now? Build up all the points and think I am not gonna bother with all these games against the likes of city,
People who are trying to build up their loyalty points but can't because people who haven't earned loyalty points use their mates to get tickets maybe. It’s just being awkward for awkward sake
Who really cares if someone can’t go and a mate wants to and uses that loyalty point, again who gives a shit?
Why buy a ticket for a match you can't attend? So if I miss a match due to work, and I pass it on to one of my mates, I should be banned?

i do agree but this 'last minute' thing seems to be a bit overegged imo.Nobody is saying that. what i'm saying is that i don't abuse the system. if you think it's fine then crack on.So what you’re saying is, you have no mates
Can I just ask what your opposition to digital tickets is?
Not saying you're wrong by the way, or saying I think that digital should be a requirement. I'm just curious because as somebody who has my phone on me whenever I'm not in the house I prefer digital tickets for everything! One less piece of paper to lose.
I was thinking that but didn’t like to askEthical reasons?
It also seems like a really odd game to start doing it, I mean who has collected enough points the last few years to then not go to city away
