Australia v England, 2nd Test, 4th December 0400

Massive session. Mostly because Root looks in form as he's absolutely crucial to our chances. Obviously Crawley looking well set too. Hopefully a couple of tons incoming.
Thought Root looked out of sorts, but he has slowly grown more assured the longer he was out there.

We have David Gower on TNT, get him signed up for comms
He's played well
He's played like Crawley but should have been gone for 5
98/2 at tea.

I'd have happily taken that after the first ten minutes of the match.
0 wickets since you switched on, hope you're here for the rest of the day
Next session is massive for the series
Aye, 200 plus for under 5 down going into the last session should give us a score to bowl at and be in the game on 1st innings at least.

Starc swinging the ball didn't he'll him, thought he shaped up nicely against the others and just lost his concentration chasing a wide one off Doggett.

This is the session and the attack for him to cash in on (Cummins back for the next test you'd imagine, maybe even Hazlewood) could be some overs from Webster or Head this session.
Hoping Root is 80+* at end of session

Just need to play sensible cricket for 2 hours.

Absolutely, this attack looks a bit toothless now the ball has stopped swinging and they have no frontline spin option to give the bowlers respite. Keep things ticking over in this session, get to tea 200/2 and England would be massively in the box seat.

He's still trying to play dabs to third man and play with a 45 degree bat, you can't do that in Aus. It's a bit slower here and he's got away with it.

Cummins and if he gets fit Hazlewood will feast on him if he keeps doing that in this series.
