On what do you base that assumption? Many have never tried to play intelligently. Brook,Root and Stokes have played countless composed innings as has Pope occasionally. Smith has massive potential and should be young enough to adapt.I can see the logic in Crawley and Duckett playing Bazball.I believe if they asked the current squad to play “traditional” test cricket, we’d score less and would get out equally quickly.
Agree,the concern is that they're wholly 1 dimensional in their approach.Apart from Crawley they are picking our best team
