I hope cirkin can make the step up but I’ve read a few posts in the past weeks talking about him being miles better than Arthur when the lad hasn’t played at this level. Paddy record isn’t that good at championship level I just don’t think he would’ve done it in the premier league.

Talbi is a far better footballer, faster and has a better strike too. He hasn't shown loads of dribbling ability in largely cameos as yet but he's only 20.

Of course he did. Why are people in denial. He barely scored and created few chances. That is what he was there to do. Yes, he was important for our shape buts that nowhere near enough now. Neil, O'Nien and Patto were all better than Roberts last year and they can't get a sniff.

Talbi scored more goals in 1 champions league knockout game last aeason than Roberts has in 2 years.

I think paddy would have given us a tiny bit of magic once every 15/20 games (by magic I mean he’d slalom past a few players like they ain’t there ) but would largely not create much and would probably struggle more often than not.
