The SMB 2026 Holiday Thread

Give it a blast while down.

Ex instructor mate thinks its poor but ideal for my level a few days.
We're just off to the Tatras again - youngest can manage the odd red run but other than that we just piss about at the ski-park where they can do the jumps and shit

The area is in my Sunday paper today.

Front page.

The article is about King Charles III England Coast Path, a 4,350 km walking path which is set to fully open early next year it says. It focuses specifically on Seahouses and Bramburgh with inspiration and guides for places to go and see while doing the walk in the area. I know you probably all know about it already but seeing local NE places mentioned in my morning paper doesn't happen that often so thought I'd share it. :)

Sorry about the size and quality of the snaps.

We don’t want no more cloggies coming over here raping and pillaging in our fine county of Northumbria.

Just booked a week in Los Cris for April

Looking at options for a long weekend somewhere warm in late Feb.

No idea about the rest of the year yet. Maybe Vietnam in the autumn.

@errant, this popped up on my feed today. Thought of you. And anyone else who likes cycling holidays and gadgets.

They filmed it using something called HoverAir. Never seen it before but it looks like a great bit of kit for cycling filming.

That looks brilliant, will have a proper watch after the match. Is that your neck of the woods?

July '26 Im gonna drive from Sunderland to Skagen & stay in a beach hotel for my 50th... 😇😁

The two lads were here for a week-end by the sound of it and the first day of filming was done pretty much where am at. They explain the HoverAir gadget as well.

What a wonderful idea for your birthday in July. Combining cycling and Badehotellet. You might even be cycling on some of the lanes these two lads did.
