The SMB 2026 Holiday Thread


Nothing yet. Tenerife for Easter would be nice but the flight prices are looking silly so I may look at a cheaper time.
 
Girlfriends brother is getting married in Nerja at the Inglesia El Salvador next to the Balcon de Europa. At least 11 possibly more are all on the same flight. Only my lass, her mum and I are all going up and stopping overnight on May 31 in the Hilton. I am using the Premium Meet & Greet. Everyone else is going up on the day. We are staying in the same villa we were in last time - Hazilla de Reya. My lasses family have been staying there for years. It's my second time and I loved it. Flying back on the 15th of June.

Annual trip to the Ayrshire coast in August

Looking for a cheap "On the Beach" type holiday in March/April

Will make other plans but nothing decided yet
 
Romania in April, wife is going to spend the last bit of her mat leave with her parents and the bairn. I’ll come back here a couple weeks before them and live the loner life.

Salou in June, was meant to be Tunisia. Re-booked from this year when we found out she was pregnant. Been to the same hotel before.

Turkey in September, in the process of organising my parents, my brother and my in-laws to come along. They get to spend time with their grandchild/nephew. We get to visit the resorts 8 bars while that’s going on.
 
Trying a family resort in Tenerife in May for a week - hoping we can lie back and relax while the kids play all day.
Then 2 weeks at the family's apartment in South-East Spain at the end of August

Not exactly pushing the boat out, but everything's just so expensive these days, especially when there's 5 of you. Even a half decent 2 week holiday in Summer was getting on £8k+
 
At the mo looking at 8 nights all inclusive at a new Tui Blu in May half term with daughter and grandson. It’s nr Antalya.
Booked two weeks in June self catering in Skiathos Town, still to book flights.
Will be looking for another two weeks all inclusive Late August.
 
Summer season flights out with Ryanair just got return flights for 5 of us with luggage etc for 1300euro for the middle of August
 
I have no holidays definitely planned until June. I hope to go my usual place in Levens in Cumbria with my parents. A week there is a precursor to my holiday with my lass. My week there is usually well within the final 100 Days before my holiday with my lass. Usually in the last 30-40 days.

I have 24.75 hours remaining of holiday time so iirc 24 hours is one day. I hope to build up more time through my Christmas shifts.

Dinnar, Mrs is gannin to skyul in London till Sept and im probs ower in Vung Tau at graft.
Batam Island may be on the cards.

I think your 24.75 will probably equal 3 days holiday mate
