Is Durham cricket club a mag place?

Fair enough they’ll probably show either of our games as they’ll have plenty fans from both sides.
They never advertise our games. They advertise every mag game

Watch 'the lads' take on Brentford

It's in CLS, which is at least 60 - 40 NUFC, if not 70 - 30.

I know loads on here will disagree but having been brought up there, it's the truth.

Sunderland have a significant supporters club but that's down to the crap transport links to Sunderland compared to Newcastle.

Durham cricket club though has a lot more Sunderland fans following it. (Members etc)

Mags just stand out a lot more because loads of the scruffs walk around in the same top daily (I’ve also spent years here)

I get pubs in town etc but not one that’s supported a lot by safc fans. Think the cricket club or anyone on its premises should remain neutral.

Some horrible rumours of PIF interest down the line, which would be beyond disgusting 🤮

The PIF thing has gone quiet. Iirc they want a franchise for that god awful Hundred

Re: the sticky wicket. As others have said, it’s not run by Durham CCC. The mags do have a lot of plastic support in CLS though, so it’s not a surprise they are trying to cash in a bit.

Mind a lot of the proper mags seem to look down on the Durham lot.

Never met a lads fan from there presumed it was 90/10 mag but admittedly have limited experience there.

Also remember some mag vlogger kicking off and calling anyone from there who wasn’t a toon fan an embarrassment

Also the infamous 90s documentary there it seems everyone on that estate is decked out in broon ale attire

Probably is riddled with Mags but in fairness we've only had two televised fixtures this season. There's so many plastic Mags who don't go to games so there's more demand to see them on TV.
