Forthcoming gigs.

Probably one of the noisiest gigs I’ve been too in terms of crowd.
We’re you at the o2 last night?

Thought they were really good, sound wasn’t great where we were sat up in the nosebleeds, vocals were drowned out at times but the show itself was great.

Simple Plan were surprisingly good, never really intentionally listened to their stuff but realised I knew a few songs. I actually thought their sound mixing was somehow better than The Offspring’s.
Seeing them tomorrow, fully expecting a arena full of middle aged balding men with bad backs and knees having midlife crisis
I’m thankfully not near that demographic yet  (but there were definitely quite a lot of them at the o2)

Had to bail out of seeing Hooky tonight, gutted. Listed my tickets on Seetickets resale at a reduced price if anyone fancies?

Simple Plan are underrated. Anyone going tonight if you dress up as a pony do you have very good chance of being pulled up on stage.

Yeah I was in the standing, wear earplugs for most gigs as it drowns out the speakers and people chatting shite all gig.

Ended up taking them out and the crowd was just insane on some songs, agree on the sound, very blown out at times but they were absolutely brilliant.

Some complete whopper’s in the crowd mind, up there with some of the worst human beings I’ve ever encountered.

Huge shout out to the complete mouth breathing tit who was barging around at the cloakroom, where there was a huge sign saying ‘cloakroom’ a line of people waiting for the cloakroom and staff shouting ‘ no exit this way, cloakroom only’
To get to the staff at the front and say, ‘oh I don’t have a coat, I just want to get out’ and arguing with the staff for him wasting their time.

some people make me believe we are minced as a species.

Offspring were excellent though.
Simple plan, as you say not my bag but I thought they were quite good too.

I actively avoid standing tickets for that very reason, too many people who think they’re the main character.

Then again the person next to me unironically screamed when Dexter said 6-7, he was at least 18 too. Sad state of affairs. Managed to piss of the people in front of him by dropping his phone down the back of their seats twice as well; it’s like all understanding of how to act around other people goes out the window when some of them go to a gig.

Still, loved the gig and thinking about going back on the 4th December for Sabaton now, but not without earplugs!
