Ashes Watching Plans

Anyone got any jet lag tips? Been trying to go to sleep early for a week to try and get a bit closer to their time zone but I just can't sleep before 10pm however much I try! Hoping after a 20 hour flight I'll be ready to crash when I get there and checked in about 9pm their time!
I never get jet lag going to Australia, but really do on way back for some reason

Just try and sleep on the plane as much as you can.

I land 11pm on Friday 12th December at tullermarine, melbourne and by the time we get to my in laws in the suburbs it might be 230am.

Probably do parkrun 5 hours later though

Is it on tnt then?
Aye it is

But some subscriptions for TNT Sports via various sellers like BT/EE, Sky,Virgin can include access to the discovery+ app. So you can then watch via their website or apps on various devices.

You can stream TNT via discovery+ on two devices at one time on the packages that include Discovery+. Any mates/relatives you can nab a login off it will let you watch for nowt.

Has as live feature too so you can start a days play whenever you want. Will be great to be able to get a full nights sleep then watch the Ashes in the daytime!

Haven't decided yet but it looks like I'm going to have to splash out on 2 months subscription to TNT.

Cheaper than flying to Oz I supposed.

Not 100% yet but close enough. Flying tomorrow and can’t wait
Enjoy Aussie, mate. We've got half a chance with Hazelwood and Cummins out of the first test. Just a little bit harder for them to get 20 wickets now. Let's hope for a great series.

Try and stay up a bit longer when you get there as your clock won’t have adjusted properly

Midnight turn in would be advised but you will still wake up at 6am, however you will quickly go the right way from there

1st Test - 2.30am start - going to be brutal
2nd Test - 4.30am Start - Not too bad get up 1.5 hours earlier.
3rd - 5th Tests - 11.30pm/00.00 Start - get the morning kips in

Tickets for the 1st 2 days.. in with the barmy army so really looking forward to it.
We're having a sweepstakes on how many scum shirts are on view... I've gone for 8 on day 1 and 10 on day 2.🤣

If they have them on on day one then they’ll have them on for the rest of the match.

Perth (0230 start) being the first test, followed by Brisbane being d/n (0430 start) kills the midnight ritual a bit - not as easy a watch as previously.

Few hours kip, first session then back to bed might be the way to go for the first test.

Also heard that there was a way to bypass a TNT subscription by getting Discovery which is cheaper or something?
Firestick..

Taking friday off all being well, so will catch as much as possible of the first few days. Day 4/5 (if played) im on early shift so might get up early to watch

Will all be shift dependent, but will see what i can
