Well last November we were told we would be seeing Stokes and Wood playing red ball cricket in 2025 for us and Boland would be signing as one of our two overseas players and that Lees would be a marvellous captain and there were interview with our three fantastic new signings ie Gay, Rhodes and Conners and we were told we were title contenders and 2025 promised to be one of the most thrilling seasons in our history. What actually happens at this?
That's all well and good being wrong on every count but was the charity bookshop opening mentioned? I won't mention the absolute stench in one of the men's facilities. The toilets really need a deep clean and some repairs doing.Well last November we were told we would be seeing Stokes and Wood playing red ball cricket in 2025 for us and Boland would be signing as one of our two overseas players and that Lees would be a marvellous captain and there were interview with our three fantastic new signings ie Gay, Rhodes and Conners and we were told we were title contenders and 2025 promised to be one of the most thrilling seasons in our history.
Mind you the chocolate cake and the lemon cake was rather nice.

Last season we were given a printed fixture list, drank coffee, had a sticky bun and listened to Marcus North telling us we were going to win the CC and relegate Yorkshire in the final game. Also some interviews with the playersYou must be logged on to see external links

It'll probably be RT leading the 'Save the Trapdoor ' militants and Muchy in charge of the Luddites LoyalistsWhat actually happens at this?
Or leading the campaign for some recognition for The Man In The Leics Jumper, JS Wilkinson, BR Lander etc at the next Hall Of Fame....although I won't hold my breath. It'll probably be RT leading the 'Save the Trapdoor ' militants and Muchy in charge of the Luddites Loyalists![]()
Hopefully there'll be representatives of the ' I was behind Robbie Harrison in the barbers ' clubOr leading the campaign for some recognition for The Man In The Leics Jumper, JS Wilkinson, BR Lander etc at the next Hall Of Fame....although I won't hold my breath.
Or the even rarer ' I saw KR Flynn hit a boundary' club.Hopefully there'll be representatives of the ' I was behind Robbie Harrison in the barbers ' club
On a connected theme, it looks as if Lancashire are taking it easy with Coughlin, restricting his weightlifting load to shirts.Pre season training. Involving weights. Letd hope they dont overdo it.

Wonder if the weight training involved trying to lift Lees above their heads.Pre season training. Involving weights. Letd hope they dont overdo it.

Clearly has no effect after the shit campaign this year. They only did well on the T20I'm always surprised with how early Durham start their pre-season. It seems too early to me,but I'm no expert.
