Durham CCC

Fixtures should be due out this month.

Shouldn't take them long seeing as there will be no structural changes this season. 🤣

There are. The Blast has fewer games, the knockout rounds are back before the Hundred (so it won’t be so bloody cold for finals day) and the Hundred has also moved earlier as there’s a test series after it not just a few ODIs. So there’ll need to be some juggling with where the championship sits.

14 games, potentially 56 days of cricket. First game to begin November 1st 2026, all done by New Year. Last game to begin 26th December as there is precious little football on that day. Easy.

We may need to rent a Zamboni.

The CC began last season on 4th April.

Therefore for next year this should mean it will begin 3rd April. That would be ideal, weather permitting, as that it Good Friday with a scheduled finish on Easter Monday.

Hopefully that will bring in a decent crowd, assuming we're at home of course.

Selfishly hoping we are away as I am planning on getting a membership and my Mrs has booked a weekend away over Easter!

Looks like conformation of the fixture releas dates according to Lancashire's X feed

We wouldnt have been relegated if 3 of them actually bowled for us
We also wouldnt have if the one who did play for us had shown anything like form which justified an Ashes call up.....which he didn't.
Might've been better to check out the Jingling Gate or the wine bar near the old Pelton Comp : Astrad
Always The Newfield Inn in my eyes.
