No wonder they are a bit bitter. They probably thought - well at least there's only two relegation places to avoid cos Sunderland are sureto be bottom.
Can't say i blame them given where we finished last season and how close things were in the playoffs.
It wasn't exactly an attitude entirely missing among lots of us, to be honest. But we saw the quality that we'd signed first of course. 'Cos we pay most attention to our own team. (Plus they beat us second game out)
Taken a while but yes the penny is dropping. Our style of play is suited to absorbing pressure rather than having 60 per cent of the ball, as well. Makes us more competitive in this league.
Like to see both Burnley and Dirty Leeds stay up as well. Because the pundits and other clubs thought similar about them, except not quite as nailed on for the drop as they had us.
