I think the paperwork that Palace didn’t do, has to be signed by January.

I would be happy to miss Europe next year, especially the crappy competitions. It could get us relegated. CL is a different matter but that's not on my worry list! Now before the barrage of don’t get carried away etc yes I will be happy with over 40 points and staying up, that ms what it’s all about this season.
That being said and Palace clearly found out about this, this season you can’t just sleep walk into a possible European place doing nothing as you don’t think you will make it.
So if Sunderland and Monaco were to both qualify for the same competition (let’s say Europa Conference league at this stage) we could have a problem on our hands with Satori.
Whilst he dosent own any shares personally in Monaco from what I can see, he is the vice president and does have decision making powers in that role.
As he has over 30% shares in Sunderland he also would be seen like Textor did at palace to have decision making powers at Sunderland.
I’m sure we won’t sleep walk into it like Palace did, but as things stand today we would not be able to play in the same European competition as Monaco, as it’s not explicitly about ownership it’s about decision making powers at a club.
Can he play centre forward? We're fine I've never heard of this bloke, he must be new is he?

I’m hoping KLD and the rest of the board will be aware of any potential problems and make sure we don’t get tripped up
KLD’s interview before the match had me thinking that they’re very much aiming high this season and whilst we probably won’t finish top 8, it may happen
Would be a massive own goal to do a palace and miss out on a technicality
AgreeWouldn’t worry about that! We’re a different beast off the pitch these days compared to the banter years of Short and then the Chuckle Brothers
Surely he could just resign his role at Monaco if he’s not a shareholder
ParaguayIf we got shot of him we'd miss out on the next generation of Paraguayian superstars.
It was March, but after the Palace fiasco, it's been extended to May (You must be logged on to see external links.). The point here is that Sartori doesn't own any of Monaco. He's on their board, but the shares are owned by a combination of his father-in-law and the Principality of Monaco.
UEFA's own rules take about an individual or group having a "decisive interest" in more than one club. On percentage terms, it could be argued that Sartori has sufficient influence, even though he's only a non-exec director of the football subsidiary, and isn't on the main board, primarily because he holds 36% of the ultimate holding company. At Monaco, he's only a non-exec and has no financial interest. On that basis, I don't think there's a co-ownership problem, though it would do the club no harm to check. If there was a problem, the simplest solution would for Sartori to stand down from Monaco before the end of the season.
I've never heard of him either but guess he is Spanish/South American given his first name?are you serious?
There is no way they are getting in the champions league, no need to worryHow about Monaco couldn't play in the same cup competition as us
I think we have quite a few new posters who didn't have any connection with the club until this season. It comes with the territory.are you serious?
Poster is sure enough in his knowledge to assure us we are fine but has also never heard of the clubs second biggest shareholder!are you serious?
