What did he say?
Can't remember it verbatim, but along the lines of "I'm a toon fan as you know, but that's disrespectful, pack it in"

They're a good band, singers dad is from Newcastle, I believe, hence the support but they're all from near St. Helens way.

I first saw them before the first album when they only had about 6/7 songs at NX in Newcastle, that's when I found out he was a Mag and then got his Dad up on stage and that.

The band are from Earlestown near Warrington. The singer and his Dad have season tickets so at least they aren’t Plastics.

Pretty much that. I think he also said something like "there's a difference between supporting your club and winding people up."
Aye, some 'ard looking fella (not me) saw the flag marched over and went to take it off them, mid song - cue a big scuffle and tbf singer did really good to calm it.

Then when he was giving a little talk about his mental health the nobheads starting singing mag songs, so he told them again to shut up. Fair play.
Aye. Just daft young lads being daft, but the singer rightly called it out as inappropriate.
Problem is, that couldve really kicked off - there naive to think they can do stupid shit like this. Kids underestimating the impact of their actions thinking its funny when in fact that was borderline dangerous.
Lucky they didnt get a good clip

I’ve never sensed any bother at the fire station but typical of mags to spoil it
Why would you need to take a maga flag anyway

Went to see The Subways at the Grove last night, they were canny. Only the fourth show of the tour and they've got another 20 odd dates so I'm not sure his voice is gonna hold out considering he seemed to be struggling already mind

Arrogant bunch the mags. I have a feeling some will be in the town derby day, breezing around with their mag tops on. Think they'll be in for a shock
