Boro thread

Hard to keep up with the lower leagues marra.
Thought you'd have an affinity for the really lower leagues - seeing as your club spent that long there
😜
Fair play to you. The rest of the Boro fans on this Forum go missing after a defeat. Mark my word’s, they will be back on after a win.
Far more important (and stressful) stuff going on in my life to be overly bothered about a Boro defeat.
Been supporting them for over 50 years so it's just part of the norm.
Whey he’s on here most of the time anyway so can’t really go missing tbf ..🤷🏻‍♂️
♥️♥️

That league looks truly minging this year
The relegated clubs are awful and In disarray
Massive opportunity for them this year watched them few times they look very average

Boro are being their usual selves to be truthful about it. They always seem to start really well and then drop off, which they seem to be doing right now. I hope Coventry do the same.

We really don't to be honest.

We got off to a steady start last season and ended up being in around the playoffs until after the turn of the year.

The year before we didn't get our first win until the 8th game, and the season before that we got off to a terrible start under Wilder, then Carrick came in and turned the season around.

Was it a hiccup yesterday or are there deeper issues

Still 2nd and the top side got beat , not that bad .
The Championship being the Championship.

Coventry and Boro are still the teams to beat but there's a gaggle of teams with decent squads who have no consistency.

Leicester look like they're about to sack Cifuentes. Ipswich look all at sea. Millwall, Stoke and Hull can look good for a few games and then get beat off somebody with no form.

Having watched some of the Wrexham game as well as a few others this season, there is a fascinating contrast to the Premier league.

Huge gaps in midfield are often noticeable and players with time on the ball that you just don't see in the top flight. Errors are more frequent but aren't punished as harshly.

Some of the games are entertaining but only Coventry stand out as even nearly ready for the step up

Watford must be an infuriating team to support last few year they always put in these type of performances so often where they look like they could absolutely piss the league then they’ll go to somewhere and look like they just can’t be arsed

Away form letting Boro down. One win in last 5. They are 10th in the form table over the last 10 games home and away.
Yep.
More boro fans joining up on here. You'd think they'd just keep hiding in that smog cloud.

Horrible, bitter and jealous fanbase. I live around them i know. The mask slips everyday.

They hate and despise Sunderland. They act all fair and nice atm as they are weak and we're much better. If it ever shifts the other way they'll be back to how they were when we were in League one. Horrible cvnts. Two faced wan kers.

They are jealous of our history, attendances and more importantly our rivalry with newcastle. They pretend they wouldnt trade it for boro winning a tinpot Cup in Wales versus Bolton or European games that they had 8k crowds at and 15k, 20k crowds at until the semi final. They would, they admit it when they are drunk most weekends to me.
Wow.
And you call OUR fan base bitter?
Obviously, whoever it is you talk to have the same bitterness as you in their nature.

I don't know of a single Boro fan who would swap our 'tinpot' cup win and our European final appearance with the pathetic crap you've made up.

Was it a 'tinpot' cup when your supporters were 'daring to dream' and going 1-0 up against Man City?
Probably not, seeing as the final was being played in London and not in Cardiff 🤷.

I dare say there will be some Boro fans that have a dislike for your club, just as there will be Sunderland fans that dislike Boro, but to go on like you have and make out that we are all 'jealous' of you and your friends (seeing as a lot of your loyal supporters used to go to Newcastle matches too) up the road is just silly.

Only one person here displaying bitterness and that person certainly isn't a Boro fan. 👍

Coventry under Robins have a rep recently for starting very slowly. As did Sheff Utd 30 odd years ago under Dave Bassett until he decided to have the firms Xmas party in early August. It worked apparently.

There’s lots show bitterness and pretty much all of the boro fans to be fair

Id say the opposite. It looks brilliant and really wide open. The teams with parachute payments have previously dominated at the top and that isn't happening this season. Allows pretty much most teams to have a chance of at least the play offs.

While the Championship is a brilliant division am so pleased we are not in it. You’ve probably got two thirds of the division who have a chance of promotion. No hate on Boro but I don’t think they will go up this year.
