Boro thread

So let's take a look at this.

"20th. 14 points"

"lost last 4 of last 5 friendlies, only scored 2 in those games, Isidor not played any games , unproven players coming in from many different places. Looks like an expensive mess right now, strong rumours of Enzo already kicking off with Bris about some differences."

" If any team stay up, it'll be Leeds. The obliterated the league based on stats and underlyings. They were miles ahead of the rest and even compared to the most recent promoted teams over the last few seasons, their data and performances rate/rank them as the best."

"I think they'll go down. Tearing out the core of the team and replacing it with expensive young hopefuls from all over Europe - I just don't see it ending well"

"However, they were far behind Southampton in terms of quality when they were promoted, and we all saw how that ended up."

"I wonder how many Sunderland supporters can name all 11 new signings ? All seems a bit soulless to me."

Absolutely no bitterness there whatsoever. The bottom quote will be gutted if they get promoted, wouldn't want him to have to go back on his word. Boro are not 'obliterating the league based on stats' therefore they will also struggle according to that poster.

You seem to be a tad obsessed about a club that supposedly means nothing to you lot.
You've picked out some posts for your weird agenda, yet there's a fair few posts in that thread with the 'good on them' view.

Pretty sure if the roles were reversed there'd be some Sunderland fans 'having a go' at how Boro were going about things.

'Bitterness' (as you put it) is in some people's nature, no matter which football team they support.

A bloke with 23000 posts on a Sunderland forum calling someone else obsessed?

I’m just laughing at the fanbase that enjoyed laughing at us when we were in League 1.
“Can we loan you a striker” they loved that line when we were in League 1

Only a few years later we’re loaning them our 8th choice midfielder

Boro fans won’t want to go up. They spent all summer saying as a promoted club we will lose every single week and it’s soulless replacing the players who earned you promotion.

Surely they don’t want PL?
We won’t go up anyway so it’s not something for us to worry about still expect Ipswich to come good and even Leicester

I agree Ipswich will come good, don't rate Leicester outside of Fatawu. Good thing is you should be at least a playoff team this season, there isn't a Leeds or Burnley from last season in the league.

More boro fans joining up on here. You'd think they'd just keep hiding in that smog cloud.

Horrible, bitter and jealous fanbase. I live around them i know. The mask slips everyday.

They hate and despise Sunderland. They act all fair and nice atm as they are weak and we're much better. If it ever shifts the other way they'll be back to how they were when we were in League one. Horrible cvnts. Two faced wan kers.

They are jealous of our history, attendances and more importantly our rivalry with newcastle. They pretend they wouldnt trade it for boro winning a tinpot Cup in Wales versus Bolton or European games that they had 8k crowds at and 15k, 20k crowds at until the semi final. They would, they admit it when they are drunk most weekends to me.

Reckon marra? Looking quite good for you's imo. Already had a few tough games out the way early, the 'better' teams are all struggling
Think we’ve rode our luck for a while now to have us in and around 2nd with the squad we have is punching above our weight. Normally it’s hard to luck past the parachute boys but with the top 6 in the championship as it is and how well you boys and to a lesser extent the other two promoted sides maybe football nature is healing I would still be buzzing with 6th come may

I'd pay good money for newcastle to dissappear forever. Football club, residents and city.

But Middlesbrough are ok, I'd like them to come up as long as we stay up. Much better than Ipswich, Southampton or some other London suburb.
Na, I want them to capitulate and end up playing in the Sunday morning leagues.
Or their derby match is against the likes of Gateshead reserves.
