Don't know why they cant have the Derby games on new years day

New years day on the drink and then of to the game back in the day. Although most pubs kept Sunday opening times it was part of the celebrations.
Derby games on NYD were outstanding.

Problem is no public transport at all will kill off a load of pub trade that would have been in the town for the match

There’s literally nee public transport not sure how we’re meant to get too and from the stadium. I’ve moved further away since our last New Year’s Day game

yeah have re-arranged the hotel but was stopping over the full 4 days, now extra 2 days when the cost becomes prohibitive. Already driving up and back in one day for Everton.
