Keel Crossing [opened 18.10.25] - compendium thread

Amazing mate.blah,blah,blah. You honestly think sir keir was taking the knee for an offshoot company of the actual blm movement? Did these revelations even come out before sir keir took the knee? This is all a bit weird of you years down the line
Cowardly?
Farage is the coward man
Its a bit strange to label someone a coward for supporting an anti racism movement, yet love a fella (farage)who takes money from a cowardly thundercunt like putin.

I think it's time to unfollow this thread now that the bridge has it'sa date. A thread about a bridge in Sunderland has descended into arguing about american politics 😅
It's boring as fuck yet they still waffle on talking shite that's nowt to do with a bridge that's gonna be class for match day fans 🤪

It's mental how much this shite infests various threads on here, even ones that have nowt to do with politics as all it takes is a single mention of summit to do with politics and whooof, they're off on one 🙄

Some must be a reet laugh on a neet out with the lads 🤣

I've not seen the seats or where they're positioned but are they not HVM's (hostile vehicle measures) to stop vehicles being driven into the crowds.
I've done these in Birmingham and they're dressed up to act as seats. Unfortunately in this day and age they are a necessary bit of street furniture where large crowds are congregated.
Nah, you could still get a car through the middle but there's big bollards town side at the building beside the bridge opening. I can't see SOL side yet but they'd probably be nearer the stadium road to stop cars getting in when all the Sheepfolds has all been developed.

Don't know if this is fake as strange how few are town side walking across but it does look to be real and canny packed out.

This isn't as packed out heading towards the SOL but there's still plenty crossing as he goes against the flow

Whoever took that 1st shot (you?) has perfectly captured Mrs B's Uncle Ted & Aunt Nita on their last (probably) visit home. They're back in the Philippines now, this picture on the way!
You also caught me & Oscar, and a bit of Mrs B's sleeve.

Been some canny pics of the new bridge but for some reason I think this is my favourite.

I would say any anti vehicle measure will be at the back of City Hall on the south side and at the top of Sheepfolds on the north side. Pointless having them on the bridge itself.

A big shout out for the cyclist in that picture who has appropriately dismounted and is pushing his bike in a pedestrian area. Well done that man.
