Just seen an article to say they're opening it at 2pm next Saturday with a fan walk over it from Keel Square! Sounds great, but SAFC are encouraging early arrival, anyone tagging onto the back of the "parade/walk" will do well to be on their queue by 2.20. I think this opening should be at 1.30

Do it any earlier and you'd not get as many people willing to join in. ru sure about the tarmac? looks awful as it doesnt fit with the surroundings !..its usually done as a temp fixing and then replaced so i will wait till the 18th to see the final product before a believe you!

Well its going to look awful then!I agree with you about the timeline but nowt to stop them doing it in piecemeal once the bridge was open and wouldn't involve shutting the bridge!Just do it when there is a big gap between home games !What designer would think it would be acceptable to have fancy paving interposed with bleeding tarmac?I really hope its a cockup with the ordering of the paving stones and not a design feature!

should have made it a draw-bridge so lifted at 2.45 so no late arrivals and back down at 5.10 so no early leavers can use it.
