I would have liked Still to be honest, and I’m not going to judge him after a handful of games at a team that got steamrollered for a year before that.

But yeah, the type of people who like a manager simply because they were a good player, or don’t have the simple ability to identify that a highly-respected manager who had performed exceptionally might then struggle when all their best players get sold from under them.

Question marks are natural, especially as he wasn’t first choice, but the reluctance to embrace the appointment was ridiculous.

Is attending every single game for three consecutive season the only metric that qualifies somebody to point out if somebody shat themselves in public?

Just three seasons? Lightweight behaviour. And no, but it is the metric of a proper supporter and not someone that shows an interest again when we are in the Premier League.
