Be amazed if he isn’t on a shortlist but I don’t think he has the name recognition to satisfy them. They still think of themselves as one of Europe’s elite and their record breaking incomes depend on maintaining that facade.

But Glasner is out of contract in the summer so I’d be more worried if I was a Palace fan.
I think the only genuine interest in RLB was from Brentford in the summer. He said no and after the delay of inquiring they appointed Andrews.

Interesting re-reading this article, it almost perfectly describes our set up and how we seem to be approaching games right now. I do wonder if the same mid season slump will happen for us though, or whether he's learned from it and knows how to address the problems

Lorient was a team put together on a relative shoestring. We have spent money on quality players, particularly keeper, defence and central midfield. We will finish comfortably in mid-tabe.
