Regis le Bris - confirmed

Suspect I was highly critical at the time as well.

More than happy to have been proven completely and utterly wrong.

The people that piss me off are the ones who still moan about stuff - slagging Hume off or how shit Masuaku is for instance - because they’re desperate to be proven right about something negative about the club.

Who is desperate to be proven right?.
Hume and Masusku didn't impress yesterday - simple fact.
I would absolutely love Hume to develop into a solid Premier defender, he's more or less one of our own and has been with us on the journey back to the top. However, yesterday he got skinned too many times - Ndoye is a class act - but he has to up his game and I desperately want him to succeed and with help from the coaches I think he can.
In general the picture is really bright and that is the most important thing. Loving life in the Premier while not totally ignoring areas for improvement.
30 percent win rate at Lorient in 2 full seasons and was relegated from the french league.

Aye, sounds class.
Still better than Amorim and Potter.

He was mentioned as a possible replacement for Amorim.

Was kind of hoping that he is still a relative unknown and unproven, at least too much for an establishment premier team whose aim is European qualification each year. I know sometimes a coach just fits a club, but rlb looks quality at the minute.

Long live RLB

I think the bit that does it for me is how humble the bloke is and how he always wants more

He is a very quiet and collected guy but you dig just a little and he can see where the monsterous mindset in the team has come from

I was horrified at the choice of someone relatively unknown. I was concerned about his lack of English Footie experience when he arrived and before the start of the season I was also concerned about lack of Premier experience.

But he has shown if you give him the tools to work with, he can put together a good team and set them up well.

Think the backroom staff are also making a huge difference too.

The small margins are in our favour at the moment. I'm delighted with where we are.

Hume made a crucial block from NDoye just before half time yesterday. Top players will get the better of you at times. People are being too picky and incredibly harsh on him.

Support the lads and back them up.

Are people slagging them off ? Or are people just commenting on individual performances, like you do on a message board ?

There’s been several posts across threads the last few weeks saying Hume isn’t good enough and that’s before we get onto the likes of O’Nien.

There are people on here who slag the club off no matter what and they continue to do so.
