Robin Roefs 🇳🇱 compendium

Did anyone get to see the tiktok video that the club had to take down?

Had a compilation of Roefs saves from Saturday with 'The Roof is on Fire' as background music.

Obviously the social media guy didnt check the lyrics beforehand as they played the bit that said 'Burn, Motherfucker, Burn' 🤣🤣

I’m sure these have been posted but if not, check his fbref

Fits that profile that we mentioned the previous links have: high performer against xG, above average (just) save % and great on cross stopping.

@MadMackem7 @The Situation
Interesting revisiting this now that fbref are showing some data for this season after 5 matches.

Our Dutch keeper is performing well against the same metrics he seems to have been scouted on

86 percentile for crosses stopped
68 percentile for percentage of crosses stopped
Overperforming his xG against (would be even higher but for the error for the Cash goal)
61 percentile for percentage shots saved

I feel sorry for Patto but this lad is a definite upgrade. Unless he gets an injury Patto isn’t getting a sniff this season

gutted to say this, but if he keeps this up - and with our model - i think he could be gone at the end of the season.
Will be the first 100m goalkeeper though.

Has literally everything.
What a signing.

Nothing to do with the model. We only sell players when we think the price is right. Like 99% of clubs in the world.

I give you Lee Camp 🤣🤣🤣

Counted six saves in that, yet that clown Deeney had the Man City keeper in his team of the week.
Against toothless Man U ,he made one save and his team won 3-0.

I always find it interesting to study goalkeepers positioning, their movements, how much ground they cover etc etc.
Our guy is quite an athlete for a big man.
Notice how wide his stance is his legs almost coiled.
His positioning is perfect in that Palace game.
To think he’s still a novice in terms of experience
