My concern is that the focus of the academy appears to have switched to Parkview Academy where Thorp appears to be i/c.

Added to that, it was cloudy all day yesterday and we spent long periods facing their seamers with the floodlights on. Today the sun has shone for the entirety.

You’ve hit the nail on the head, and that’s what has pissed me off quite a bit. Hants got Sundar. Yorkshire had Imam ul-Haq before he had to return and then replaced him with Agarwal. Yet we end up with a club cricketer who imo is worse than Parky and Drissell. At least Drissell can contribute with the bat a little bit as well

Norths recruitment is criminal crowing about the likes of Bailey and Conners. Even Aldridge they signed averages 25 with the bat and 38 with the ball.

He’s not brought in a bowler signed permanently whose first class average is better than 38.

There has always been loads of talented seamers in this part of the world are there suddenly none or are we just not looking in the right places.

If we keep signing other people’s poor cast offs we will continue to struggle.

Pretty poor competition if he was but don't blame the kid. He's another youngster who's regressed under our current coaching team. Both Killeen and DeLeede would be far better choices for this game but both have been inexplicably excluded.And Hogg is clearly considered a better selection than new signing Bailey.
I'm seriously beginning to believe that North is progressing the demolition of our red ball cricket.

Only thing I can assume is at least one of them are away. North seemed to imply this lad is here next season at a recent members event. These will be questions to ask after this week I guess as a lot will need answering as members won't let this lie.
 
I think the coach is getting away with it mind. He arrived with the big mantra "i hate draws" well the last few matches where Durham have needed to win a match has played 4 front line bowlers and filled his Xl with batsmen. He basically is playing the county system of bonus points and hope someone does us a favour..

Aye been a one man attack most of the season Raine I have no idea what’s gone wrong with Potts. Was brilliant 2 seasons back is the England omission or just loss of form and confidence?
