Yorkshire v Durham : CC September 24

Just sitting down to watch the rest of the day's play. Am I to assume that this has been a complete shit show, rather than some excellent bowling on an unplayable surface?
Some good bowling tbf but the usual poor shot selection from our batters
Everyone has got themselves out but wasn't the easiest of batting conditions before and a bit after lunch too.
Just watch it will be sunny all day tomorrow and the Yorkers will score freely

Disciplined bowling on a pitch offering something for the bowler. We know that, apart from Raine, ours won't be.
An issue all season but too late now as Hampshire taking defeat off the cards.

We needed Surrey to win and that ain't happening. Ali Orr carrying on from where he left off at the weekend.

On the basis the forecast is good, there will likely be a result as there will be at all other grounds.

This hopefully plays into our hands as we can then catch sides like Essex, Yorkshire.

If we can post a decent score hopefully this increases the pressure on Yorkshire significantly

Fine tomorrow and Friday but showers from midday Saturday. We really need Clark and Bedders to kick on now to give us something to bowl at

Hopefully these two can continue their good partnership and get us up to 350 and there's always a chance Yorkshire stumble under some pressure. I think Chelmsford might be another 400 v 400 pitch so can't see Essex getting dragged into it, so with Hampshire going well it's Yorkshire to catch.

The problem is there is more pressure on us than there is on Yorkshire.....plus we are the more likely side to crack under pressure as we have already seen today.
