10 Trenches Deep

I was born in 1949 and brought up in Fulwell, Pennywell and Gilley Law. In 1968, I left for London and since 1972, I've lived abroad, France and Switzerland. I've totally lost my Sunderland accent. People are amazed when I tell them where I'm from.
However, my twin brother left Sunderland in 1966 and has lived in Norf Landon (Arsenal country) ever since, and he hasn't lost one iota of his accent.
I suppose we all react differently to our backgrounds and developments.

Haven't lived in the NE since I was 21. Down here in Bristol, my accent is pretty neutral. However, once I get north of Scotch Corner, I start to go native, especially once I start talking to people. Mrs G once said my accent came back within 30 seconds of starting a phone call with my late mother.

I forgot you existed. Am glad they did post it now as will follow you again. Like, not everywhere you go or anything. Just on YT

Same, used to enjoy watching his safc stuff and the subbueto goal recreations :). Seems he got on it before the likes of phillie, shaun middleton and micheal bowers lads started. Wasnt sure about some of the other stuff roker report were putting out back then like that talking sock :)

Had forgotten all about the sock! Never been sure about RR full stop. The editor rarely comes across well on here but this lad seemed canny with his stuff

Your voice on here will always be that of Alastair Sim

Thank you for sharing. I've taken the plunge and finally joined RTG after years of reading 😂 please be nice.
Welcome aboard.
Shows I’m née Sherlock Holmes
I thought the lad who does the excellent “ What the Falk Podcasts “ also produced the 10 Trenches deep videos ( with the sound being computer generated ) -think I’m mistaken 🤣
All great contributions to following the lads -Thank you
Is TTD doing the alternative match videos this season or have I missed them ( apologies if seb )
Haddabout, has anyone ever seen @MackeminGlasgow and @10 Trenches Deep in the same room? 🤔

(Ignoring they look and sound completely different)

No, they get zapped. I am going to do two versions. One on here with chat, diagrams and stills and the full video one, which will have to go elsewhere until I take the Copyright Czars on or perhaps the club could help me?
Thank you
They are very much appreciated ( and I can say that on behalf of all the lads I go to games with too )

Met a couple on a Caribbean cruise (I knar, ooo look at me). They were originally from my neck of the woods, Thorney Close but emigrated to Toronto 25 years previous. He was broader than me and sounded like he'd never been away. She was full on North American shouty whiney twat. It's a state of mind.

Accent mimicking is quite common in neurodivergent people.
