So this 'dead wood' 'shit' (Patterson, Neil, Roberts and Cirkin) that you would 'bin off'. How much would you expect to sell those four players for ?

With regard to the 'Wheatabix' contingent (by which I think you must mean Huggins, Hjelde, Alese and Seelt), How would you bin them off ? Which club do you think would want to take on a player with a dubious fitness record ?

And seemingly, according to you at least, Moore isn't good enough to be third choice.

Just on the arithmetic, taking out nine players from the existing 22 over-21 years players would reduce the over-21s to 13 players, of whom three are likely to be involved in AFCON, reducing the number of players for the period of that tournament to 10.

Similarly, three of the eleven under-21s are also likely to be playing in AFCON, reducing that number to eight players. 10+8 = 18 players. Even if Lucumi, another player and the mystery goalkeeper that you would bring in join before Monday, that would be 21 players possibly available for selection during AFCON, which would mean we could just about put together a full bench of nine players, so long as no more that one of the 21 were injured or suspended.

following you cull and the AFCON departures, the team and bench would look something like :-

We need him as we are 1 injury away from struggling at the back. , we played with 10 men for last 20 mins with new lad limping about after the brentford forward stood on his foot

Agreed on this. If we can get him in we have fantastic strength in depth across the back four but there is still that worry at the moment
