Broken striker market

It's ridiculous but doesn't matter as much if you have there coin if him and wissa sign that more than makes up goal wise what isak got
They’ll get nowhere near Isak’s goals. Some unproven kid who will take at least 6 months to settle in to English football, Wissa is going to have to do a lot of heavy lifting.

The fees for strikers are ridiculously inflated
There is a high demand in the market for proven strikers (almost everyone is looking for one); therefore, any striker who actually scores a reasonable amount of goals is going to go for a large fee so the fees aren't ridiculously inflated. A proven, consistent 15-20 goal striker - which appears to be the demand of many for us - is going to cost an absolute fortune yet there's no guarantee of performance when they move into another team's system (as we have found out in the past).

He was good in the recent euro tournament, I think he might have won the golden boot, but didn't stand out against England in the final.

He's 6ft 6. The mags seem to rely on hoofing the ball forward, relentlessly playing aerial crosses into the area and set pieces. Seems perfect for their Wimbledon, high energy style of play.
Just looked at the history of that tournament, golden boot winners in it don't seem to typically pull up many trees in their career - Waldschmidt & Nmecha are the other Germans who've won it recently & both have had pretty average careers. Hopefully this one will be no different.

This myth that it's impossible to get a striker has to stop.

Below deck is a list of strikers me and my associates in the amateur scouting hobby rate, who have moved clubs this season. I think we could have been serious contenders to sign any of them had we tried.

Kostoulas to Brighton - 29m
Guessand to Astro Villa - 30m
Amoura to Wolfsburg - 27m
Thierno Barry to Everton - 27m
Larsen to Wolves - 23m
Broja to Burnley - 20m
Ivanovic to Benfica - 18m
Jesus (not Christ) to Nottingham - 10m
kvistgaarden to Norwich - 7m
Ferguson to Roma - 3m LTB
Burkhardt to Frankfurt - 20m
Hollarbach(girl) to Mainz - 10m
Piccoli to Cagliari - 10m

It's criminal if they don't buy a striker and they can't say there was none available or they're too expensive, when loads of other clubs have signed one.

You may want to think before posting that.

European competition.
Wages.
Sustained league positions.

That was his best season. Who’s to say he didn’t over perform as before that it was 12,7 and 7

Just because he did well last season doesn’t mean it’ll go on like that
It was Isak's best season as well, he's only scored 20+ league goals twice in his career. He's somewhat overrated and has more or less peaked at his age.

Going for a lot more than £65m if the German media are to be believed.

Just saw Bamford has been released, wonder if Keith 'Championship' Andrews would take him at Brentford. Wissa then goes to Newcastle, Isak goes to Liverpool.

Strikers and goals keep you in the league, and good ones are hard to come by.

Bamford is nailed on to end up on yet another lucrative deal. Definition of a gravy train player.
