Forthcoming gigs.

A venue in Preston is reopening on Thursday night after being closed since pre Covid. I’m heading there on Thursday to see Lucy Spraggan as I try to support local venues. Going there for Peat & Diesel and The Sherlocks later this year as well.
 

Went to that touchdown festival last night at the white elephant stadium in Darlo.
I was surprised by razorlight, I always thought he was a knob, so that put me off, but they put on a great show. Ocean colour scene sounded good, white lies would sound better in a different venue.
An enjoyable afternoon of drink and music.
 
In Sheffield right now for The Rock and Roll Circus. Should be good. Going in the VIP section, mainly for the Mrs to not have to queue for ever for the bogs. VIP section sponsored by Greggs 😀

I wanted tickets for tonight but missed out, going tomorrow night instead (no VIP). Gutted ill miss Fat Dog but at least its still Viagra Boys.
 
Last minute rock n roll circus on Sunday. Cheap VIP ticket for me and the kids, mostly for the Lilacs but son is getting into Britpop stuff so Sleeper, Embrace and Ocean Colour Scene should be good for him

Fab evening. Kicked off a nice little run for me with Peter Buck & Luke Haines, The Burning Hell and Dave Stewart in the next week.

Got in around 4.30. Viagra Boys were excellent. The singer is nuts 😀 Fat Dog were good as well and the bass player was wearing an old Sunderland away shirt for some reason. Queued for almost an hour for the merch stall. It was easy enough to leave the venue but can't comment on getting back into Sheffield as we stayed in the Ibis right next to the arena as the Mrs didn't want the hassle of getting back into Sheffield after.

Good stuff glad you enjoyed it. I'm at the Best western in town so hope I can get back ok. Gutted to be missing Fat Dog, never seen Viagra Boys so can't wait 🥳🥳
