According to reports we've offering twice more money and as you say a hefty signing on fee. Lucumi won't be happy with that and I doubt they want to keep an unhappy senior player.

Don't understand the logic of keeping a player for a year that won't sign a contract , that's clearly wanting the move

I think we will see 2 or 3 defenders classed as finishers for this sort of reason
BSA used to take Kirchhoff off after 65/70 minutes so as not to wear him out…great player but injury prone. He rarely missed a game under BSA
 
We’ve had no major journalist updates everything being said is being controlled by Italian newspapers

Literally exactly what German newspapers were doing with Xhaka and their DoF / ETH.

I’ll wait for a big report rather than the papers helping Bologna negotiate

Might be just trying to get more money or they might be happy to sell for less next season and take the hit. Although even next year he might sign a new deal as interest will probably be less as he will be 28 and people unlikely to pay a decent fee.
