Wrestling - Part 3

I fast forward a lot now. I could probably get away with watching the highlights package on YouTube tbh. 2hrs 30 of predictable bland action and stories. The Naomi announcement was decent but hardly a surprise given that other publicity whore Stephanie McMahon has been all over her during the last week.
Wrestling is reet in the toilet atm mate. f***ing terrible. Go back and watch some 80s NWA on YouTube.

He looks absolutely shocking in the ring. His ideas in AEW have been worse than shite. He did a good job there initially but fuck me it went to his head and he went ape shit after.

He'll fit right back in with all the other MAGA knackers in TKO. HOF induction and hopefully send him off somewhere where he has no influence on creative.

*Edit. The Painmaker gimmick he came up with in Japan needs to be studied as to how cringey that was. A bloke in his 40s trying to be a goth... Or something. Good lord 😂
Agreed, 2-3 year ago he still had it but gone rapidly downhill since, the learning tree stuff was horrific.

But Triple H told me WWE was on fire at the moment
He was up untill whomever decided it was still necessary to have a load of "writers" over zoom have their say (as seen in the clips of Unreal). Too many cooks. Can't just blame Trumps favourite water spitter.

Exactly

@Two million voices actually it was 5 years ago. When he first started with AEW he was good. 2-3 years ago he was showing he was the shits. Sorry for the correction but he was terrible in everything he did after losing the title initially. He should've walked away then

I enjoyed the MJF series where he’d send a new opponent every week, also the Ospreay match at All In was class, since then shite.

Any wrestling promotion wanting to get Jericho back in the ring needs to be assessed by a mental health practitioner ASAP, he is absolutely finished.

On screen character/manager yes, wrestling no.

And he'd be perfect as a heyman crazy
This Rollins faction is utter toilet like. Raw is the same every week, the writers should be sacked.

The highlight of this weeks Raw was someone announcing a pregnancy.

They missed the boat with the 3rd member should have been someone bigger.

For someone obsessed with punk as well there doing a terrible job of telling us why Rollins is obsessed.

I was sat in my car outside of the See Opticians in Fulwell and on Apple Music I was bored of 80's hits. I wanted TV theme tunes but came across some WWE Entrance Music mainly from the Attitude Era and I absolutely loved it. John Cena, The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Batista, DX, HBK Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, Kane, Triple H (Motorhead), Mick Foley....I wouldn't recommend Rest In Piece whilst doing 70mph down the A1.

Jim Johnson has been the best thing about the WWF/WWE in a very long time.

You just don't have music like that now. Only one is John Cena's. And possibly those of Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes. CM Punk's is great. But apart from that not many Superstars have great music.

Just like they did a terrible job of explaining Cena's heel turn.

Totally agree though, no one cares about Bronson Reed.

Yeah they are all pretty naff tbf. Punk/Cody/Cena are decent, weirdly quite like Bayley's, Rhea's is alright and fits her character.

Nothing will top the Honky Tonk Man's.

Is that where they did a song and dance routine? Aye I can do without that tbh
That was roundabouts when I stopped watching AEW. Just awful.

The POV were Punk made his debut and both Cole and Bryan turned up for the first time should really have been the companies coming out party but it was pretty much all downhill from there.

Jericho has been involved in some absolute garbage on their mind. The cardboard stage he went through of the cage, dinner dance segment, orange juice match, the shark cage match where the cage door wouldn't open so they all just got out between the bars, pizza cutter then Dominos ad, that barbed wire everywhere match with Kingston, the Learning Tree... What a run of bollocks 😆

Im taking the bairn. Her 1st ever live show.
I see doors open 5.30, is it best to get there well before then, or after doors open?
Never been to the arena in years

We’ve got early access to the lounge mate so I’m not sure.

I prefer getting everywhere early though!
